At the top-right of the page you have your hub - icons that let you know about any faults (right), alerts (center) and events (left) that have occurred.

If anything has happened that needs your attention, you should see it here.

Alerts will show you each active alert.

Faults will show you if there are any problems with your equipment - either nodes or data sources that are not responding.

Notifications show the log of recent changes to the system.
