Creating an alert is quite simple.
First, locate the measurement you would like to add an alert on. You can do this by clicking on the 'eye' icon on the measurement, or by searching for it on the sidebar.
In the measurement page, you'll find a list of alerts. If you want to add a new alert, simply press the 'Add Alert' button.
Give the alert a name. See the section on naming alerts for a little more detail on how alert names and descriptions interact.
Optionally, give it a description.
Choose the alert type.
Pick an alert group.
Choose an alert message, or leave it as 'default'. We suggest 'default' if you don't absolutely require a custom message to be sent
Finally, specify the setpoints. Note that the setpoint control (as shown above) will change depending on which alert type you've picked.
Hit Create New Alert and you're done!
