A user in rAware is a single person (or device) that has access to information from the rAware system.

For example, there may be several people across the state, country or planet who want access to the information you're recording. Rather than sharing a password between you, each person can have their own user, which gives them a unique login to the rAware system.

As well as accessing the system, users can recieve alarms and subscribe to reports

Users don't always have to be human beings - they can also be automated systems or machines. Without an email address, the account can not be used to log in - ideal for creating a mobile phone that is shared between staff members.
