To manage the data sources or devices in your rAware system, you'll need to first use the main page to find the node that your device is connected to (or that you'd like to connect your new device to).

The interface is then another one of our list pages, allowing you to add, edit and delete the connected devices.

Adding a new device is a multi-step process and is covered in our howto article on adding a device to rAware.

However, adding and editing devices is relatively straight-forward - simply click on the device name or on the trashcan icon.

Apart from the device name, there is little you can change about your devices - you are not able to update their address or type. If you've changed I/O devices, you will either need to ensure they are compatible and use the same IP, or you'll need to add a new device and delete the existing one.

If you do have special needs and are replacing a device that is not like-for-like, contact support - we may be able to assist you in moving the device over for you.
